SA: Aboriginal advocate to run in SA election as independent

ADELAIDE, Jan 20 AAP - An Aboriginal advocate today accused the South Australian governmentof paying lip service to indigenous problems before announcing he would stand as an independentat next month's state election.

Law and social justice advocate Tauto Sansbury said he would stand for the legislativecouncil at the February 9 poll.

He said his campaign would focus on addressing problems within Aboriginal communities.
