NSW: John Laws claws his way back to the top of radio ratings
Talkback king JOHN LAWS has clawed his way back to the top of the Sydney morning radiomarket, helping his station lift its overall rating.
His former stablemate ALAN JONES has continued to dominate the breakfast slot despitea 2.2 per cent drop in listener support.
The second metropolitan radio ratings survey for the year delivered an overall winto FM station 2DAY FM with 11.7 per cent of the market - a 0.2 per cent jump.
Talkback station 2GB has suffered a 1.4 per cent drop in support but managed to clingon to the second spot overall with 10.3 per cent market share.
But the biggest jump of the survey went to Laws, who added 3.5 per cent to his supportbase for an overall lead of 12 per cent in the 9am to midday (AEST) slot.
